Your iPhone will soon warn you before you fall for a scam

Apple is introducing a new anti-fraud system with iOS 27 that’s designed to catch scam attempts in real time. The framework, called Trust Insights, monitors user behavior during calls, text conversations, or email exchanges and can trigger a warning or add a verification step if it detects signs of manipulation. How Trust Insights works In a WWDC 2026 developer session, Apple explains that Trust Insights evaluates behavioral signs, such as response timing and deviations from a person’s normal usage patterns, to determine whether they might be getting coerced into sending money or sharing sensitive information. When those signals suggest a…

Nothing’s next budget earbuds are coming for boring AirPods clones

Budget wireless earbuds are the most popular kind of wearable tech in the market. But just like smartphones, a lot of these hearables basically look quite similar to one another. Nothing has actively worked on avoiding that trap, and its next affordable earbuds are expected to keep the track going. The company has just confirmed that Nothing Ear (3a) will launch on July 7 at 11:00 BST, sharing the stage with the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b). The teaser does not reveal the full spec sheet yet, but it does show the earbuds in four colors: White, Black, Yellow, and Pink.…

Both…

Opera’s new Paste Protect feature stops the clipboard attack your antivirus can’t catch

Most online scams are easy enough to spot once you know what to look for. Fake login pages, suspicious attachments, or urgent wire transfer requests are dead giveaways. But ClickFix doesn’t look like any of them. It presents itself as a solution, and it asks you to do something so routine that few people think twice about it. The technique was behind more than 53 percent of malware loader incidents last year, according to cybersecurity firm Huntress, and no major browser had a native defense against it until now. Opera is fixing that with a new feature called Paste Protect.…

The Razr Fold now gets along better with iPhones thanks to AirDrop

I already had more reasons than expected to keep the Motorola Razr Fold around. While reviewing it, the company’s first foldable genuinely surprised me with its level of polish. A practical outer display, great cameras, strong battery life, and a gorgeous folding screen. All of this made me want to switch to this device as my primary phone. Now Motorola has added one more reason, and it’s just sweetening the deal for me. The Motorola Razr Fold now supports AirDrop-style sharing through Android’s Quick Share, making it the first Motorola phone to get the feature. That means Razr Fold users…

OPPO’s Bubble made me wish magnetic accessories were this fun

Some smartphone accessories, like power banks, are quite useful, while others are cute for about five minutes before the novelty wears off. The Oppo Bubble looked like it was going to be part of that latter, but I had too much fun with it, and now I want more accessories to be this way. One that doesn’t take itself too seriously, without missing out on some well-thought-out functionality. I used it with the Oppo Reno 16 Pro, which already has one of the flashier phone designs I have seen this year. The Pop White version has Oppo’s 3D Pop Planet…
