Baldur’s Gate II is reportedly getting the remake treatment, according to PC Gamer, and former BioWare and Baldur’s Gate II lead designer Kevin Martens is returning for it. The publication also reports that it has heard from its sources that the first Baldur’s Gate is likely to be getting a remake, too. Martens is already working with Wizards of the Coast for the upcoming sci-fi RPG, Exodus, which looks to be filling gaming’s Mass Effect-sized hole when it launches in early 2027.
