The Blood Of Dawnwalker has one simple goal at the center of it: storm the castle, save your family. And not long after completing the introduction, protagonist Coen – and by extension, you – are let loose in the world to figure out how best to accomplish this task.
As we learned during our cover story trip, this means a great deal of The Blood Of Dawnwalker could be optional, tackled at different times, and even missed in one playthrough. NPCs can be affected, and even killed, due to Coen’s actions. So we talked with some of the leads behind Dawnwalker to understand the vision behind these choices and consequences, and how they feel it shapes their approach to role-playing in their fictional 14th century world.
