Google’s next flagship lineup is still months away, but leaks are already flowing. Between credible tips, CAD renders, and info unearthed while digging through Android 17 beta code, we now have a surprisingly detailed picture of what the Pixel 11 series could look like. That includes details about the upgraded Tensor G6 chip and its new MediaTek modem, the “Pixel Glow” RGB LED replacing the thermometer, and new camera sensors across the lineup.

This is your one-stop hub for everything leaked, rumored, and reported about the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. We’ll keep updating it as new information surfaces in the months leading up to the launch.

When is the Pixel 11 series coming out?

Google has not made anything official yet, but the pattern is hard to ignore. The Pixel 9 lineup launched in August 2024, the Pixel 10 series followed in August 2025, and all signs point to August 2026 for the Pixel 11 series. Following the announcement, the devices could go on sale sometime in mid-September.

The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are expected to debut together at a “Made by Google” hardware event. However, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could arrive a few weeks later, possibly in October 2026, mirroring the delayed rollout of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

What will the Pixel 11 series look like?

Visually, the upcoming Pixel lineup may not receive a dramatic overhaul. Google may follow the same core design language for the third year in a row, with leaked CAD renders shared by OnLeaks suggesting that the devices will focus on refinements rather than a full visual reset. The renders show the lineup retaining flat sides, rounded corners, and the signature horizontal camera bar.

The most noticeable change, if the renders are accurate, is the camera bar going entirely black across all models, rather than matching the body color as it has on previous generations. Bezels also appear thinner. Dimensions of the base Pixel 11 are rumored to be 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm, nearly identical to the Pixel 10 but marginally slimmer.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold could be getting a more meaningful design update. Leaked CAD renders suggest a thinner body at 10.1mm folded and 4.8mm unfolded, with a more integrated camera module.

Tensor G6: Google’s first 2nm chip

The Tensor G6 could be the biggest under-the-hood upgrade in the Pixel 11 series. According to leaks, it will be built on TSMC’s N2 (2nm) node, which would make it Google’s first 2nm chip and could bring significant gains in efficiency and thermal performance over previous generations.

The CPU is rumored to feature a unique 7-core configuration, consisting of 1 ARM C1-Ultra core running at 4.11GHz, 4 ARM C1-Pro cores at 3.38GHz, and 2 ARM C1-Pro cores at 2.65GHz. It will reportedly be paired with a PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU, a new Titan M3 security chip, a new TPU (codenamed Santafe), and a new GXP image signal processor (codenamed Metis).

One of the more significant rumored changes is the modem. Google is allegedly planning to drop Samsung’s Exynos modem, which it has relied on for years, in favor of MediaTek’s M90 (MT6986D), which could bring improvements to 5G connectivity and power efficiency.

Brighter displays across the lineup

The base Pixel 11 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 1080×2424 resolution, 60-120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,100 nits. PWM dimming is listed at 240Hz in the leaked specs, which is on the lower side compared to rivals.

The Pixel 11 Pro is said to feature a 6.3-inch OLED with a 1280×2856 resolution, 1-120Hz refresh rate, 3,600 nits peak brightness, and 240Hz PWM dimming. The Pro XL reportedly matches those display specs but on a larger 6.8-inch OLED with a 1344×2992 resolution.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumored to have an inner folding OLED screen with a 2076×2160 resolution, 1-120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and an outer cover display with a 1080×2342 resolution, 60-120Hz refresh rate, and 3,600 nits peak brightness.

New camera sensors on every model

Google may be swapping out camera hardware across the entire Pixel 11 lineup, which is not something the company does every year. The base Pixel 11 and Pro Fold are both rumored to receive a new 50MP main sensor codenamed “chemosh.”

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL could be getting a more substantial upgrade. Both the primary and telephoto cameras are reportedly being replaced with new sensors, codenamed “bastet” and “barghest.” However, exact specs for these sensors have not leaked yet.

RAM may be getting quietly downgraded

The RAM situation is one of the more contentious details to have emerged from the leaks. Google transitioned to 16GB RAM across its Pro lineup starting with the Pixel 9 Pro, but the Pixel 11 series may quietly walk that back. Leaks suggest both 12GB and 16GB configurations could be offered on the Pro models, with the lower likely tied to the entry-level storage options. The base Pixel 11 is expected to stick with 12GB RAM, though Mystic Leaks notes an 8GB option may also be on the table.

This is thought to be a consequence of the ongoing global RAM shortage rather than a deliberate downgrade. Whether Google absorbs the cost difference or passes it on to buyers is unclear at this point.

How long will the Pixel 11 series last on a charge?

The battery capacities that have leaked are listed as minimum/rated figures, meaning advertised numbers would likely be slightly higher. The base Pixel 11 is rumored to pack a 4,840mAh cell, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are said to come with 4,707mAh and 5,000mAh batteries. Based on these figures, it’s believed that the devices may not offer significant battery life gains on paper. However, the efficiency gains offered by the upgraded chip could result in noticeable improvement in real-world use.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rated to have a minimum-rated battery capacity of 4,658mAh, which would likely be marketed at around 4,800mAh typical capacity. If accurate, this could be a significant downgrade compared to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which features a typical battery capacity of 5,015mAh and a rated minimum capacity of 4,919mAh.

Pixel Glow: Google may be replacing the thermometer with an RGB LED array

One of the more intriguing changes rumored for the Pixel 11 series is the removal of the built-in IR thermometer that debuted on the Pixel 8 Pro and carried through to the Pixel 10 Pro. In its place, Google is reportedly planning to add a small RGB LED array to the camera bar on the Pro models, a feature being referred to as Pixel Glow.

References to the feature were first spotted in Android 17 Beta 4, and subsequent leaks have offered more details on what it might actually do. It has been described as similar to Nothing’s Glyph interface, potentially using the LED array for notification lighting and other visual cues when the phone is placed face down. A mockup shared by Mystic Leaks shows small LEDs positioned alongside the flash within the camera bar.

Whether Pixel Glow turns out to be a genuinely useful feature or more of a novelty remains to be seen, but it would represent an interesting shift in how Google is thinking about the camera bar as a functional surface beyond just housing lenses.

Project Toscana: IR face unlock may not be coming to Pixel 11

For a while, there was genuine excitement around Project Toscana, Google’s rumored under-display IR face unlock system. It promised a more secure and seamless biometric experience, similar in concept to the Face ID system Apple uses on iPhones.

However, the latest leak suggests Google may not offer it on the Pixel 11 series. Project Toscana is reportedly not ready for a 2026 launch and may not debut with the upcoming lineup. If that’s accurate, the Pixel 11 series would continue to rely on the in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

It is not yet clear whether Project Toscana has been shelved entirely or simply pushed to a future generation, but based on current leaks, IR face unlock does not appear to be arriving on the Pixel 11 series.

What colors will the Pixel 11 come in?

The base Pixel 11 is rumored to be available in black, green, pink, and purple. Color options for the Pro models have not yet surfaced.

What I want the Pixel 11 series to deliver

The leaks paint a promising picture, but there are a few things I am hoping Google gets right that spec sheets alone won’t tell us.

  • Faster charging: Competitors have been offering 65W and 80W wired charging for years. A phone that takes over an hour to charge a modest battery is hard to justify at flagship prices in 2026.
  • 256GB base storage: Apple did it with the iPhone 17. Samsung did it with the Galaxy S26. There is no good reason Google should still be shipping flagships with 128GB as the entry point, especially if RAM is quietly being dialed back at the same time.
  • Pixel Glow needs to be actually useful: The RGB LED array is one of the more interesting changes rumored for the lineup, but it lives or dies by its implementation. If it ends up being a notification light with better marketing, it will be remembered the same way the thermometer was, as a feature nobody asked for.
  • A GPU worth talking about: The 2nm Tensor G6 is exciting, but a GPU from 2021 is not. The graphics gap with Snapdragon rivals is becoming harder to ignore, and Google desperately needs to close it this year.

There’s still plenty we don’t know about the Pixel 11 series, and some of what has leaked may change before Google takes the stage in August. We’ll update this page with every new detail as it surfaces, so it’s worth checking back closer to launch.
