During today’s PlayStation State of Play, Koei Tecmo announced it is remastering Dynasty Warriors 3 for PlayStation 5 with Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered. The game will include remastered versions of the original 2001 PlayStation 2 game, Dynasty Warriors 3, and Xtreme Legends, which was a re-release of Dynasty Warriors 3 with added content.
Koei Tecmo cites this entry as the game that laid the groundwork for the entire series. Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5 on March 19, 2026.
