A new PUBG shooter has stormed onto the battlefield, full of sound and fury. DED.NET took the stage at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 tonight, broadcasting its particularly irreverent approach to an online first-person shooter.

In a trailer highlight the setting of a place called Cascadia in the ’90s, we saw a lot: characters doing penguin body-slides across the map, launching explosives from a graffiti-laden grenade launcher, and a guarantee that words used to describe DED.NET couldn’t be spoken on the Opening Night Live stage.

There’s an interesting sell under the gratuitous aesthetic, though; today’s trailer description describes a multiplayer FPS “with roguelite progression across runs,” which sounds a little intriguing. Hopefully we’ll see more of that as we learn more about the latest entry in the PUBG family.
