Digital Eclipse, the team behind retrospective collections such as Atari 50, The Making of Karateka, and Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection has announced two Toy Story nostalgia projects. The first is Toy Story: Retro Roundup, a “definitive collection” of classic Toy Story games from the ’90s/early ’00s. The bundle features the following titles, including a surprise bonus game:Toy…
Asus Vivowatch 6 Plus arrives with blood pressure and ECG chops alongside a wellness coach
ASUS is continuing its push into health-focused wearables with the launch of the new VivoWatch 6 Plus at Computex 2026. And unlike many smartwatches currently flooding the market with vague AI promises and fitness buzzwords, ASUS is aiming for something more practical: real-time health tracking backed by medical-style sensors and AI-driven wellness guidance. The VivoWatch 6 Plus arrives with built-in ECG monitoring, blood pressure tracking, body composition analysis, sleep monitoring, and stress tracking packed into a relatively compact smartwatch design. ASUS is also heavily promoting the watch’s new AI-powered wellness coach, which analyzes health data and offers personalized recommendations based…
In 2025, one in four cars sold anywhere in the world was electric. However, in the US, that figure is closer to one in ten, and it is not moving in the right direction. The falling EV prices globally have pushed sales to record levels. American buyers, on the other hand, are marching through 2026 with fewer incentives, higher prices, and a shrinking selection of affordable options. How bad is the EV situation in the US? The IEA’s Global EV Outlook 2026, released May 20, puts the global picture in sharp relief. Electric car sales exceeded 20 million units in…
Somewhere along the lines, I lost count of the number of times I beat Star Fox 64. It was one of those games that I would start over as soon as I finished it, aiming to not only beat my high score, but find more secrets en route to taking on Andross in the climactic final battle. Sadly, the franchise lost its way after that masterpiece, and no matter what studios like Nintendo, Rare, Namco, Platinum, or any of the other teams that have tried, nothing has recaptured the magic of that N64 game. To attempt to put the Star Fox…
ASUS has officially unveiled the new Asus Pad, and honestly, the inspiration is impossible to ignore. From the flat metal chassis and symmetrical bezels to the magnetic keyboard accessories and stylus support, the tablet looks heavily influenced by Apple’s iPad lineup. But underneath the familiar design language sits what could actually be one of the more compelling Android tablets launched this year. The Asus Pad arrives at a time when Android tablet makers are aggressively trying to close the gap with Apple in premium productivity-focused hardware. While many Android tablets still struggle with app optimization and ecosystem polish, companies increasingly…

Asus V700 Mini desktop serves a wood-grain finish and it’s a design trend that must stay
Asus’ V700 Mini Tower, announced at Computex 2026 gives the home desktop a rare design win. The new mini desktop keeps the practical shape of a tower PC, but swaps the usual cold box look for clean lines, soft contours, and a wood-grain finish meant to sit where people can actually see it. That visual shift does real work. A mini desktop doesn’t have to be hidden under a desk, tucked behind a monitor, or parked beside a router because it looks too harsh for the room. Asus introduced the V700 Mini Tower as part of its Computex 2026 AI…

Maverick Games has announced an open-world action-driving game called Clutch. Clutch will be the debut game for the studio, which was founded by Mike Brown, who designed Forza Horizon 2, 3, and 4, and served as creative director for Forza Horizon 5. Within the R1K, players can take part in sanctioned events.…
Google Photos backups are getting a little less wasteful for people who use Takeout to keep their own copy of a photo library. This is aimed at Google Photos users who don’t want Google to be the only place their photos live, especially anyone keeping a second archive on an external drive, NAS, or another cloud service. Google says Incremental Takeout for Photos will make recurring downloads faster and more efficient once the initial archive is complete. The first run still includes all selected photos and albums, but later runs focus on photos and videos that were uploaded, backed up,…
