If you asked me to imagine what a spinoff of The Callisto Protocol would look like, I’d probably have some quick answers. Maybe it could be more of a horror narrative adventure akin to games like Until Dawn. Maybe there’s some sort of PVE shooter like Back 4 Blood in the franchise’s DNA. What I wouldn’t have pitched, though, is an isometric roguelike modeled after Hades that’s full of sardonic quips and punk rock music. That’s exactly what Striking Distance Studios has cooked up with Redacted, stylized as [external-link href=”https://store.steampowered.com/app/2229940/REDACTED/” newtab=”true” nofollow=”false” noopener=”true” noreferrer=”false” norewrite=”false”]REDACTED[/external-link], an unlikely spinoff on par with…
Ever since seeing the “Welcome home, sir” scene in Iron Man 2, many of us have wanted a smart setup with a Jarvis-like assistant. While some may have hoped that Alexa would provide that kind of functionality, so far, the assistant is just too limited. That might change with the launch of Gemini 2.0 and Google’s Project Jarvis, though. In a sense, this new project is Jarvis. This project was…

Which is better on Apple or Amazon Music: lossless or Dolby Atmos? And can the power of AI be used to create a self-calibrating TV? A 4K Blu-ray picture fix? Ed O’Brien writes: I’m not getting the most out of watching movies on my Sony A95L with a Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player. With cable or streaming, I am blown away by the picture quality, while 4K Blu-rays just seem “meh.” I even tried direct comparisons…

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy subsequently confirmed in an interview with IGN that the film will take place 15 years after the conclusion of Star Wars’ Sequel Trilogy and will find the Jedi “in disarray” and Rey trying to rebuild the Order “based on the books, based on what she promised Luke (Mark Hamill).”…
