Apple’s much-awaited quarterly earnings report failed to soothe investor concerns about its biggest challenges, including escalating tariff costs and a slowdown in China.The company’s shares declined about 2.8 percent in premarket trading Friday. Apple had released second-quarter results that included worse-than-expected sales in China. The iPhone maker also warned in the Thursday statement that tariffs will increase costs this quarter, a sign that geopolitical tensions are taking a growing toll on the world’s most valuable business. Hollywood loves a good reunion, especially between two megastars like Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves and Bullock will reteam for an untitled romantic thriller in development at Amazon MGM Studios. Noah Oppenheim, who recently co-created Netflix’s Zero Day, will pen the script. Plot details are under wraps, but the idea has been described as “propulsive.” Reeves and Bullock famously starred in Speed, Jan de Bont’s 1994 thriller about a bomb on a bus. MercurySteam is most recently known as the developer behind Metroid Dread. But it is arguably more famous for developing the acclaimed 2010 game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which it created for Konami (with help from Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions).
