The robot vacuum category has two types of products: the ones you babysit, and the ones that actually remove work from your week. A self-empty model is the line between those two experiences. The bObsweep Bio Auto-Empty Robot Vacuum & Mop is $239.99, saving you $890 off the $1,129.99 compared value. That is a huge price cut, and it turns a “premium convenience” category into something that’s suddenly realistic for a lot more homes. What you’re getting This is a robot vacuum and mop with an auto-empty dock designed for up to 100 days of capacity. That’s the key feature,…
By all accounts, I am not the target audience for the Virtual Boy. The ancient VR console was launched and subsequently discontinued years before I was born. I’m extremely prone to motion sickness, and I wear glasses, which seldom fit in gaming headsets. Also, word on the street was that the console sucked, and that I wasn’t missing out on much.As such, I’ve never been interested in even trying it, and haven’t had many opportunities, but that changed last week. Nintendo flew me out to New York to play some upcoming Switch 2 titles, and I knew I had to…
Record labels still plan around iTunes, and it’s not because anyone misses the iPod era. Over 80% of iTunes users don’t subscribe to Apple Music, which leaves a large audience outside Apple’s streaming base. If you’re in that group, labels see you as a straightforward buyer during a new album’s first week. Release week is when sales totals shape headlines, chart positions, and perception. A paid download can spike those numbers quickly, without waiting for streams to accumulate, Bloomberg reports. Apple also argues iTunes is not just for replaying old favorites. It says half of iTunes customers began buying songs…
The Nintendo Switch is officially the company’s best-selling console ever, surpassing the Nintendo DS, which long held the record at 154.02 million units sold. As of December 31, 2025, 155.37 million Switch units have been sold, making it Nintendo’s best-selling console ever, according to the company’s latest financial earnings report. This doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, as the Switch has been trending toward taking that top spot for a while now, but it is perhaps surprising that the achievement occurred after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 last summer. Of course, there are plenty of people still buying Switch…
Lenovo’s refresh of its Legion Y700 Android gaming tablet has been a long time coming. Last year, a leak first hinted that the company was working on the next-gen version featuring an upgraded chip and longer battery life. Now, Lenovo has officially confirmed that the upgraded Legion Y700 is on the way. The original Legion Y700 earned a following thanks to its compact size, sharp display, and gaming-focused design, making it a favorite among gamers who wanted a portable Android tablet capable of handling demanding titles. Lenovo’s refresh comes as interest in small, high-performance gaming tablets continues to grow. The…
Mario Kart World was the marquee launch title for the Switch 2 last summer, and to nobody’s surprise, it’s the best-selling game on the console. At 14.03 million units sold, including units sold with the Switch 2 bundle that included the game, Mario Kart World is far and away the best-selling software on Nintendo’s newest console. In fact, it nearly dwarfs second place by 10 million units. That second-place game is Donkey Kong Bananza, which launched in July, roughly a month after Mario Kart World – 4.25 million units have been sold as of December 31, 2025, according to Nintendo’s latest…
Streaming costs are on the rise, and anime fans are next to feel the pinch. Over the past year, “streamflation” has worsened, with several major platforms raising their subscription fees. Now, Crunchyroll has joined the list of streaming services hiking prices, meaning your daily anime fix is about to cost a bit more. In a recent blog post, Crunchyroll confirmed it will be raising subscription fees across all tiers in the US. The base Fan tier is increasing from $7.99 to $9.99 per month, while the Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan tiers are jumping from $11.99 and $15.99 to $13.99…
I Played Resident Evil Requiem And Pragmata On Switch 2 – And They Ran Surprisingly Well
Last week, Nintendo invited me to an event in New York where I played a handful of upcoming Switch 2 titles, including the Virtual Boy and the Super Mario Bros. Wonder DLC. I was far more curious about the event’s third-party titles, though. Specifically, Capcom decided to demo Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata for the Switch 2, and after playing both, I’m shocked at how well Nintendo’s newest console handles them. Both demos are ones we’ve played before at Game Informer, though it was my first time with either. The Requiem demo is the same as what was offered at Summer Game…
Google Home automations can quietly take a lot of friction out of your day. From turning lights on at the right time to adjusting the temperature when you’re about to reach home, automations are one of the most useful parts of Google’s smart home platform. Last month, Google expanded what those automations can do by rolling out a new set of starters that gave users more ways to trigger routines. Now, a fresh update for the Google Home app builds on that momentum, adding support for even more automation starters, conditions, and actions that make it easier to create more…
Android 16 QPR3 Beta 2 tweaks a Pixel setting that can quietly reduce one of the most annoying mobile problems, Wi-Fi that looks connected but isn’t actually usable. Instead of a single Adaptive Connectivity on or off switch, this Android 16 test build breaks the feature into two controls, and both start enabled. On the QPR2 stable release, Adaptive Connectivity lives under Settings, Network and internet, and it’s mostly a leap of faith. Turn it on and Google says Android will manage your connections to improve performance and extend battery life. In QPR3 Beta 2, the page gets more descriptive…
