Motorola hasn’t said a word officially, but China’s TENAA certification database (via Gadgets360) has done the talking anyway.

The Motorola Razr 70 has appeared on TENAA under model number XT2657-2, and the listing is packed with enough detail to paint a fairly clear picture of what’s coming — assuming you enjoy reading certification databases at breakfast.

Razr 70’s ultrawide camera could get a resolution bump

Cameras are where the Razr 70 makes its clearest argument for an upgrade. The Razr 60 got by with a 50MP main lens and a 13MP ultrawide that, frankly, belonged in a different price bracket.

This time, both rear sensors come in at 50MP, with the second one tipped to be a telephoto backed by 3x optical zoom. That’s a proper camera system, not a spec sheet afterthought.

Memory options also get a serious glow-up. The Razr 70 is expected to be offered with up to 18GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage — configurations that would put it comfortably in flagship territory.

Motorola isn’t tipping its hand on the chipset just yet, but the 2.75GHz clock speed logged in the listing already clears the Razr 60’s 2.6GHz Dimensity 7400X. Small gap, real difference — especially if you’ve ever watched that phone pause before opening a heavy app.

Familiar displays and battery

The display story stays largely familiar. The Razr 70 features a 6.9-inch OLED inner display and a 3.63-inch cover screen — broadly the same dimensions as its predecessor, suggesting Motorola is keeping the form factor intact while quietly upgrading what’s inside.

Battery capacity also stays put at around 4,500mAh, and at 188 grams and 7.2mm thick, the dimensions are nearly identical to the Razr 60. Given that the Razr 60 debuted in April 2025, a similar launch window for the Razr 70 looks likely — which means an official announcement could be just weeks away.

For anyone eyeing a capable clamshell foldable without the eye-watering price tags of Samsung’s Z Flip lineup, this one’s shaping up to be worth the wait.
