Apple’s $1,999 iPhone Duo is already one of the most expensive smartphones. But if that doesn’t sound exorbitant enough for you, Caviar has new special offerings that make the original price tag look like pocket change. Luxury customization brand Caviar has unveiled its latest take on Apple’s foldable, complete with precious gemstones, exotic leather, and even genuine fragments of meteorites. Yes, actual pieces of space rocks embedded into your iPhone.
Called the Zodiac collection, Caviar’s latest creation takes inspiration from the 12 astrological signs, which allows buyers to design a personalized iPhone Duo. And if you thought the materials were extravagant, wait until you hear about the prices.
Your zodiac sign, now available in titanium and meteorites
According to Caviar’s official announcement, the Zodiac collection introduces an online configurator that allows buyers to customize virtually every decorative element of their foldable iPhone. You start by choosing one of the 12 zodiac signs, each featuring a circular constellation-inspired design on the rear panel. From there, you can customize the frame, backplate, zodiac wheel, and central medallion.
The material is what really catches your eye. Caviar is offering silver, yellow and rose gold, natural or black titanium, and everything from crocodile and python leather to forged carbon. If that wasn’t overkill, even the decoration are wild with jewelry enamel, diamonds, sapphires, rubies, Swarovski crystals, and genuine meteorite inlays.

Caviar claims there are over a million possible combinations for each zodiac sign, giving buyers an extraordinary amount of freedom to create something uniquely theirs. This is what you’d call a truly customizable piece, where you actually own a one-of-a-kind phone.
The price is equally astronomical
Naturally, building an iPhone out of precious metals and gemstones isn’t going to be cheap. The default Capricorn configuration, featuring a black titanium frame and forged carbon backplate, carries an estimated price of $14,800. Meanwhile, an Aquarius configuration with silver and navy crocodile leather comes in at approximately $18,615.
Both examples use the 256GB iPhone Duo, which Apple sells for $1,999. And those aren’t necessarily the final prices, since adding or changing materials affects the overall cost. Once you’ve shortlisted the design, buyers receive a unique configuration code that they can share with a Caviar sales manager to finalize their order and pricing.
Caviar also reportedly performs additional hinge and display testing on each customized foldable and provides a 12-month warranty. This isn’t the first time Caviar has gone all-out with its creations. Earlier this year, the company even made a $4,490 iPhone case containing a genuine Tyrannosaurus rex tooth fragment. Similarly, you even had a special edition that had you pick between Ronaldo and Messi for a customized version of the iPhone 17 Pro series and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
