Original programming on Disney+ remains the domain of preschoolers in August. But fortunately, there are two shows that have come riding to the rescue so adults and older viewers have something to watch as well. The sixth and final season of Grown-ish has arrived on Disney+ alongside National Geographic’s new series, OceanXplorer, which is a lot better than the awkwardly spelled name suggests.

Note that neither of those two shows is produced by Disney+, which is currently overly reliant on Hulu for interesting shows like The Bear, Clipped, Only Murders in the Building, and Hit-Monkey … which you have to pay for. While you may be able to watch Hulu shows on Disney+, Disney is still going to charge extra for the privilege. But for the fans who only want a single streaming service, these are the best shows on Disney+ right now.

If you’re not already subscribed, the Disney Bundle is worth considering. With it, you get Disney+, ESPN, and the ad-supported Hulu plan, making it an impressive value for the price. You’ll enjoy new Disney content, live sports coverage, and Hulu’s various originals.
