OnePlus has finally shared an early look at its upcoming compact flagship, the OnePlus 15T. The company just shared official images on its Chinese social media, showcasing a palm-friendly design that is gaining popularity in the smartphone market.

But if the design feels a little familiar, that’s because it is. The OnePlus 15T sticks to the company’s recent design language, which was first seen in its predecessor (OnePlus 13T).

Familiar looks, small footprint

The OnePlus 15T is a compact flagship phone that will reportedly feature a display around 6.3 inches tall. This is likely a flat AMOLED panel, making it noticeably smaller than most modern Android phones. Despite its smaller form factor, leaks have suggested powerful specs and features like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16GB of RAM, and as much as 1TB of internal storage.

Looking at the teaser poster, the OnePlus 15T retains curved corners and a squircle camera module on the rear. Two of its color variants were also confirmed, including green and black/dark gray options. Just like the OnePlus 13T, we’re getting a dual camera setup once again, with a main and periscope telephoto lens. While smaller phones typically sacrifice battery capacity, the OnePlus 15T is expected to be powered by an impressively large battery pack exceeding 7,000mAh.

The return of compact Android flagships

OnePlus’ upcoming 15T reflects a growing shift in the smartphone industry. While most Android flagships sport tall displays, this device shows that smaller high-end phones are making a comeback. There are some options in this category, like the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10a, but the new OnePlus 15T easily outclasses these phones in terms of endurance.
