Retro tag team beat ‘em up Marvel Comic Invasion finally has a launch date, and two more heroes join the fray: Phoenix and Iron Man.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion launches on December 1. Living up to the game’s title, Phoenix is the cosmic alter ego of the X-Men’s Jean Grey, whose telekinetic mutant powers are substantially enhanced by the powerful celestial entity, the Phoenix Force. You’ve probably never heard of Iron Man, but he’s supposed to be pretty cool too. See them in action in the trailer and screenshots below.
These latest additions fill out the roster of 15 playable heroes fighting to take down the game’s main villain, Annihilus. Here are the other confirmed characters:

Developed by Tribute Games (TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Scott Pilgrim EX) and published by Dotemu (Absolum, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound), Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a co-op brawler with a tag-team twist, as each player controls two heroes they swap between on the fly.
